Windy City NativHawks Announce Player, Coach Signings

The Windy City NativHawks announced on July 3, 2026 that they have signed four players and a coach for their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for the 2026-27 campaign.

André McLean, a 6'0" PG/SG from Des Moines, Iowa joins the NativHawks after playing deaf basketball for the Des Moines Stags of the Des Moines Association of the Deaf.

He originally hails from Richmond, Virginia.

Semaj Coleman, a 6'1" combo guard originally from Chicago, joins the Windy City NativHawks. He also plays for the Chicago Club of the Deaf.

Also joining the NativHawks is 6'5" forward and center Jamal Garner, Sr. Originally hailing from Chicago, Jamal plays for the Chicago Club of the Deaf and spent last season with the Springfield Swish.

Rounding out the player signings is Alfred Wigley III, a 6'4" guard and forward currently living in San Francisco. He also plays for the PNW Loud My Name of the NorthWest Association for the Deaf Basketball.

Jamell Jamison was also signed to the NativHawks as their Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach.
